Syntowax A47M10
Syntowax A47M10 - Amide Micronized Wax
Micronized waxes are synthetic polyethylene, polypropylene, or amide waxes obtained by milling the polymer raw materials in a jet mill or by spraying. The final product can be either uniformly shaped round particles or unevenly fragmented particles of varying shapes.
The product is supplied in 10 kg polypropylene bags. The guaranteed shelf life is 2 years.
Application:
Micronized waxes are added to paints and varnishes to improve gloss, glide, uniform resin distribution, and form a smooth, scratch- and abrasion-resistant protective layer. They are used in powder coatings, architectural paints, and wood coatings.
Amide micronized waxes are used in protective, epoxy, and powder coatings, primers, and solvent-based anticorrosive systems. They are also used in polymer and plastic composites to improve surface smoothness, strength, and durability.

Application:
- External lubricant / lubricant, plasticizer for polymers (PVC, PP, HDPE, LDPE, Rubbers);
- Dispersant and plasticizer in super concentrates (masterbatches, polymer compositions);
- Viscosity regulator in hot melt adhesives and adhesives, oils, coolant;
- Component of wax compositions (paraffin compositions, model injection formulations for metallurgy, candles);
- Temperature and strength modifier in thermoplastics, bitumen.

P24M10 is a micronized polypropylene wax, representing a universal high-temperature additive with a melting point of 146–152 °C, compatible with most coating systems, including solvent-based, powder, epoxy, polyester, acrylic, and UV-curable coatings. Its key function is the formation of a strong and hard protective surface layer that significantly enhances the coating’s resistance to abrasive wear and scratching. At the same time, the wax acts as a highly effective matting agent, providing a uniform, stable, and deep matte finish.
Thanks to its chemical inertness and high melting point, P24M10 remains stable within formulations and during service without negatively affecting other film properties. It is used in protective, industrial, and decorative coatings where increased surface wear resistance, resistance to mechanical damage, and a stable matte appearance are required.
- Application
-
Micronized waxes are used as additives in the production of coatings and surface finishes. They improve gloss and slip properties, promote effective resin dispersion, and form a smooth surface layer that protects against scratching and abrasion.
They are used in powder coatings, architectural paints, and wood coatings.
